The Trion Table Top Free Standing Electrostatic Air Cleaner.
A washable pre-filter removes most airborne large particulate, while the electrostatic filter effectively traps better than 99% of fine particulate, dust, dust mites and cigarette smoke etc. The Electrostatic cell needs simply to be lifted out and rinsed under a tap once or twice a year.

The final stage carbon filter removes odours such as tobacco, cooking smells, pets, incontinence and most other unpleasant odours. This filter should be replaced periodically, perhaps once a year, as Carbons cannot be washed.
