A general rule of thumb with all electronics, is that for each 10°C increase in nominal temperature, a 50 percent reduction in the lifetime and reliability of the equipment may be expected. However there's no need to be alarmed by this otherwise frightening statistic. Adequate computer equipment cooling virtually eliminates this risk altogether.
The choice is merely which route to take:
Conventional wall or ceiling mounted systems? Under floor systems? Or individual rack-base mounted cooling cubes or a combination of all three? and of course how much headroom should be allowed for future expansion?
